Raijin Guide

Master of Thunder
Overview:Raijin is SMITE 2nd Japanese god and its 8 millionth god of thunder,he is a mage that can do tons of damage, mark enemies, escape bad situations and taunt/fear his enemies in a team fight. While you are a high damage mage your abilities allow you to be able to a more tanky mage like a Zhong Kui either playing him in the mid or solo lane.
Raijin's Passive: After using (don't have to land anything) 4 basics or abilities, Raijin's next ability does additional damage.
Raijin's 1: a line attack that shoots out 4 bolts of thunder, that get wider the farther they travel. It goes through minions and stops at the first god hit.
Raijin's 2: He sends out Raiju that marks an enemy on the minimap and when that enemy is hit by Raijin, Raiju damages the target and 4 enemies around him.
Raijin's 3: He sends a bolt of lightning at a ground location. This damages and mezes enemies and then he "leaps" in the sky and then lands doing damage.
Raijin's Ult: He summons his drums and can strike them 4 times, if you use his 1 you do 100% damage, his 2 does 50% damage and a 0.5s Taunt, his 3 does 50% damage and a 0.5s.

Abilities:
1. Static Crescendo (Passive)

4. Thunder Crash

Raijin sends down a bolt of lightning that crashes down at a ground target mesmerizing enemies in the area. He then ascends to the sky himself and then comes crashing down in the same area doing damage again. (The timing is awkward at first but you get used to it)
  • Ability: Leap
  • Lightning Damage (1st hit) : 20/30/40/50/60 (+20% of your magical power)
  • Thunder Damage (2nd hit) : 40/60/80/100/120 (+40% of your magical power)

How Do I Build Raijin?

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image

When I play Raijin I build him so that I can do a lot of damage and tank damage at the same time. Basically a tanky mage.

To do that I start off by buying Vampiric Shroud and Lost Artifact to get early game sustain and power so that I can stay in lane as long as possible and clear lane as fast as possible.
Then I move on into Shoes of the Magi to be able to move around faster, get more power and early penetration.
Then I move on to Warlock's Sash ,this builds prefered stacking item, so that I can build some tankiness ( no, its not a word but you what I mean ) with a lot of health and mana. Plus the power it gives is nice to because it makes you hit harder.
Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
Then I upgrade Lost Artifact to Chronos Pendant so that I can have lower cooldowns and can cast more often, more power and MP5. Again all good things.
At this point in the game my team pushing towers and objectives so I get Obsidian Shard the take them down faster and shred through enemy protections.       After that I get Rod Of Tahuti to get a huge power spike that lets me hurt everyone and just burst down enemies in a flash. ...get it lightning... flash..It was bad but you have to admit it was kinda funny... Ok moving on.

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
Finally we get Spear of Desolation which is a new item that gives +130 Power, +20 Penetration and it passive is stupid good:all of your cooldowns are reduced by 8 seconds if you kill an enemy god but it cannot activate more than once every 30s. So basically you get it to desolate the enemy team. Ok that pun wasn't as good as the usual stupid puns but its hard to be funny all the time.

What Do I Do As Raijin?/Tips

  • Be careful when using your 3, if there is an Awilix on the other team her ult can pull you and kill you.
  • You can be a tanky mage but you are still a mage and need to be careful.
  • Your ult Beat 1 HURTS A LOT so you can use this to secure or steal objectives.
  • Your ult can be used to pull enemies off you team or an objective by using Beat 2 (Your 2 Key during your ult).
  • Your ult can be used to pull enemies off yourself by using Beat 3 (Your 3 Key during your ult).
  • Use your 2 and 1 to clear waves quickly.
  • Only use your 3 aggressively when you know you can get out of a bad situation aka if your team is with you/there is only 1 person alive
  • If you get the chance use your basic to charge your passive even if there is nothing there to hit.

Summary:
Raijin is a hard hitting, lane pushing, minions shocking god that is a lot of fun to play. His kit is simple enough that you can pick him up pretty easily but as you get better with him, you get more use to his combos and are just a more effective Raijin. The main things to know are that you can be tanky if you build that way, your main combo to clear is using your 2, then your 1 and this can work on gods as well. Your ult can be used differently depending on which beat combo you use but you need to know what that combo is before going into your ult or else you will run out of time. Good Luck and Have Fun Playing as Raijin Master of Thunder.

Amaterasu Guide

The Shining Light

Overview:
Amaterasu is SMITE's newest goddess and the first in the Japanese pantheon. She has a lot of utility and is very team based. She takes a second to get used to but when you do she can be a huge asset to your team. I recommend going max cooldown and being very tanky with her.
Amaterasu's Passive: Landing 3 basic attacks on the same enemy applies an aura that increases all damage that they take. Affect all enemies in the area.
Amaterasu's 1: is a stance change that gives a small heal. Valor grants bonus power/Benevolence grants bonus movement speed.

Amaterasu's 2: charges her mirror for 5s, reduces damage taken, after the 5s she launches her mirror doing up to double damage. Can be fired early.
Amaterasu's 3: a dash that pierces all minions, stops at the first god hit and silences gods hit.
Amaterasu's Ult: 3 consecutive strikes that do more as you move down the chain. 1st Damage, 2nd +10% damage and slow, 3rd +40% Damage, 1s Stun.

Abilities:
1. Illuminating Strike (Passive)

After landing 3 basics on the same enemy she applies an aura to them showing their weaknesses and causes them to take more damage from everywhere. Enemies within the aura are also affected. VERY Useful on Gold Fury, Fire Giant, and Titans.

  • Ability: Debuff
  • Weakening Aura: 10% Increased Damage Taken
  • Stack/Aura Duration: 5s
  • Radius: 30
  • Max Auras Possible: 3
2.Divine Presence
Amaterasu heals herself every 1s for 4s and has an aura that buffs near by allies, every time this ability is activated Amaterasu changes stance. Valor Stance gives you bonus power and Benevolence Stance gives you bounce movement speed.
  • Ability: Buff
  • Benevolence Aura: 5/10/15/20/25 % Movement Speed
  • Valor Aura: 15/20/25/30/35 Bonus Power
  • Heal Per Tick: 20/30/40/50/60 (5% of your Physical Power)
  • Radius: 30
  • Cost: 50/55/60/65/70
  • Cooldown: 9s
3.Heavenly Reflection
Amaterasu charges her mirror for 5s, during which she takes reduced damage. Activating this ability again at the end of the 5s will fire her mirror straight ahead. The mirror charges up from landing hits on enemies of getting hit and can deal up to 2x the normal damage when it's fully charged.
  • Ability: Line
  • Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
  • Cooldown: 14s
  • Self Damage Mitigation:3/6/9/12/15 %
  • Mirror Damage: 50/100/150/200/250 (60% of your Physical Power)
  • Full Charge Damage:50/100/150/200/250

4.Glorious Charge
Amaterasu silences all enemies in front of her as she dashes forward damaging all enemies in her path, piercing minions but stopping at the first god. This is an incredibly fast dash but can sometimes be hard to aim aggressively but it is a good escape.  If you use it as an escape make sure there are no enemy gods in the way.

  • Ability: Dash
  • Dash Damage: 70/130/190/250/310 (60% of your Physical Power)
  • Silence Duration: 1s
  • Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
  • Cooldown: 18s
5.Dazzling Offensive
Amaterasu strikes 3 times in a large cone area, the 2nd does 10% more base damage and slows enemies, the 3rd hit does 40% more damage and stuns enemies. You have to hit an enemy to progress through the chain. (Good to clean up or start a team fight)
  • Ability: Cone
  • Cost: 100
  • Cooldown: 75s
  • First Strike Damage:75/125/175/225/275 (+50% of your Physical Power)
  • Slow Duration: 2s
  • Stun Duration: 2s

How Do I Build Amaterasu?

After the Season 3 Change I can't find 1 build that works consistently but this is the build that works the best so far.
When I play Amaterasu, I focus on being a tanky, supportive, utility player which works well with her kit. AKA max cool down, lots of protections, with a little base power and pen so we can still do damage.

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
I start this build by buying Death's Toll, and using its passive and health to stay in lane longer and farm up. Then I move into Warrior's Tabi to get movement speed to get around faster and get some power. Next I build Breastplate of Valor so I get some much needed cooldown reduction and mana so I can be more effective and use my abilities more often and physical protection. Next I buy Hide of the Urchin because it gives you protection, health, mand and just makes you hard to kill. This is necessary because personally I think she is very squishy and this helps her survive longer and not get blown up every 4s.
Then I build into Bulwark of Hope to get more magical protections, health and an amazing passive that will give you a shield with health equal to 150 +15 per level. This activates when you take damage and are below 30% health but this can only occur once every 60s. This will save you so many time and the shield stays on you even if you heal to max hp. Then I build Frostbound Hammer to give me even more health, power and for its passive that slows enemy movement by 30% and their attack speed by 15% for 2s when they are hit by your basic attacks. Allowing Amaterasu to hit more basics, apply her passive and just hurt the other team more.

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
Finally I sell off Deaths Toll and replace it with Jotunn's Wrath to finally get max cooldowns, more power, penetration and mana. This is best way I have found to play her but this might not work for you since she is a very interesting god.  Feel free to mix up the build order depending on what you need change it to your playstyle or ignore it completely. This is just what works for me and can help you get started until you find what works for you.

What Do I Do As Amaterasu?/Tips

  • If you are fighting minions use you 1 to switch to you Valor aura for more power, use your 2 and fight minions until it's charged up to clear as fast as possible
  • To start a team fight use Benevolence aura to get there faster then switch to Valor when it starts so your team can hit harder.
  • If your team is focusing 1 person dash to silence them, charge your 2, and hit them with your basics to kill them as quick as possible
  • Your Ult can be used at the start of a team fight to get the slow and stun to weaken the enemy team or at the end to finish them off.
  • You have to hit an enemy to continue your ult chain it can be a minion, jungle creep, enemy god, etc. Just Hit Something to keep it going.
  • Your dash is fast and can be hard to aim so keep that in mind
  • Your 1 is a heal and can be used over and over with cooldowns in emergencies but it does take a lot of mana.
  • Use Your Stance Change this is one thing that I need to work on but it the bonus power/movement speed is so useful in every situation so make sure you're always taking advantage of it.
Summary:
Amaterasu can a be fun god to play and very effective you just need to know the parts of her kit and take full advantage of all her effects. Building her tanky with max CDR works the best for me but she is a very unique god but is not easy to play.Main thing is to be in the right stance, hit you basics, charge your 2 all the way and hit something will every swing of your ult. If you find out any good tips for her leave me a comment.
Good Luck and Have Fun Guys Playing as Amaterasu The Shining Light.

Ymir Guide

Father of the Frost Giants

Overview:
Ymir is one of the most useful, fun, and easy to use Guardian in SMITE. Being one of the free gods, he is a good god to play if you are a new to the game. His entire kit gives him 3 ways to control the engagement and still gives him decent damage. He is played in the duo lane with an ADC, aggressively or defensively depending on what the ADC needs and can be useful on his own if he has to be.
Ymir's Passive gives your basic attacks 100% more damage if an enemy is hit by an ability first.
Ymir's 1 is a wall that rises from the ground can block enemies movements.
Ymir's 2
is a line attack that does damage and slows enemies.
Ymir's 3 freezes enemies in place for a short time and does damage.
Ymir's Ult is an AOE slow enemies in the area and does damage after being channeled for 3s but can be canceled for less damage.

Abilities:
1. FrostBite (Passive)

If Ymir uses an ability that affects enemies it applies a debuff to enemies that make Ymir’s basic attacks do 100% more damage.

  • Ability: Buff
  • Frostbite Damage Bonus: 100%

2.Ice Wall

For Ymir’s first ability he summons a wall that rises from the ground and blocks player movement. This is useful to trap escaping enemies or to block off enemies as you or your team escape.

  • Ability: Ground Target
  • Cost: 60/65/70/75/80
  • Cooldown: 14s
  • Lifetime: 2/3/4/5/6s
3.Glacial Strike
Ymir strikes the ground with his club damaging enemies in front of him and slowing them. This applies Frostbite. This is his main damaging ability and clear and this is a really good way to slow enemies before they escape or to just do damage.

  • Ability: Line
  • Cost: 55/60/65/70/75
  • Cooldown: 8s
  • Damage: 90/160/230/300/370 (+70% of your magical power)
  • Slow: 35%
  • Slow Duration: 4s

4.Frost Breath
Ymir uses his frost breath in a cone shape attack that freezes all enemies in it. This is Ymir’s bread and butter and what makes him able to be played both aggressively or defensively.

  • Ability: Cone
  • Cost: 60/65/70/75/80
  • Cooldown: 18s
  • Damage: 50/90/130/170/210 (+50% of your magical power)
  • Stun: 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25s

5.Shards of Ice
For Ymir’s ult he freezes the air around him and growing shards of ice on his back and slowing enemies. After channeling for 3s he unleashes and does damage to all enemies in range. This applies Frostbite and it can be cancelled at anytime but it does less damage.

  • Ability: Area
  • Radius: 35
  • Cost: 80/90/100/110/120
  • Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70s
  • Damage: 500/650/800/950/1100 (+150% of your magical power)
  • Slow: 30%
How Do I Build Ymir?
When I play Ymir I build to be as tanky and annoying as possible because it fits with Ymir's abilities and base stats. This build gives you a huge amounts of physical protections, magical protections, health, mana, a slow off of your damaging abilities, decent cooldown and a decent amount of power.

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
To get this build you want to start the game by buying Mark of the Vanguard to get early game sustain and defense. Then Shoes of Focus so you can cast more often and have some more mana. Next you want to buy Sovereignty and Heartward Amulet to get physical protection and magical protection retrospectively. In most situation you want to get Sovereignty because Hunters, minions, towers, etc. do physical damage first but if you are facing a team that has a magical ADC you might want to get Heartward instead but minions will still hurt a lot so it's up to you.Which ever you don't get first you get the other because these are very essential to a support not only because they give you protection but also because Sovereignty gives all allies 20 Magical Protection and 20HP5 and Heartward gives all allies 20 physical protection and 20MP5.
After I have both of those finished, I like buying Hide of the Urchin to get as tanky as possible as it gives you both physical protection, magical protection, health and mana. 3 of the 4 making you more tanky and the 4th allows you freeze more people and make them run into walls.(Which is funny and helps the team) After that I build Gem of Isolation because it gives you power, health and its passive slows enemies hit by your damaging abilities.

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
To finish off my Ymir build I usually finish it off by buying Ethereal Staff to get A LOT of health man and some more power and its passive that converts 2% of your max health to power. This item goes really well with you build because all of you items except for Shoes of Focus gives you health AKA you can support your team and still hit the other team pretty hard.

What Do I Do As Ymir?

  •  As Ymir you can be a very effective Support and just a good team player. He can be aggressive or defensive depending on your playstyle and your team's playstyle. You want to take full advantage of you freeze, wall and ult to control the enemy team.
  • Take advantage of your passive and always basic enemies hit by your abilities if you can
  • Using your freeze and wall to set up a kill or help teammates escape is such a useful asset in a team and makes Ymir a great support at every phase of the game
  • Ymir combo Freeze and enemy, use your 2 to get some damage, throw a wall up to make it harder to run away and then ult to slow them when they thaw out and for damage.
  • If you have full boots and put a wall up at your feet as you run, you will put the wall right behind you
  • Be careful not to wall your team or you into a bad position
  • Using Blink to get behind the enemy team before you use an aggressive combo is really good
  • Early game remember you are not tanky yet and minions hurt A LOT!!!
  • Remember although Ymir and this build has can do damage BUT you are a support so you usually won’t get a lot of kills, it's you job to set up kills for teammates and protect them.
  • Using your ult on an objective to secure an objective if a Gold Fury,Fire Giant or Titan is getting low
     - this can also be used to steal an objective as well as securing but to steal you want to blink in, ult and RUN AWAY

          How I Build Chiron:

Credit to ELITE OWNAGE for the App Used in the Image
After playing with Chiron more, I've learned that while Chiron is an ADC, he does cast a lot so having a Transcendence build works better than the Devourer's Gauntlet. Off the start you buy level 2 Transcendence, and level 1 boots. Then as the money comes I finish Transcendence then finish off Warrior's Tabi. I use this start because I run out of mana fast really fast so Transcendence helps out in that respect and gives me a lot of power at the same time. Warrior's Tabi to get more power and some movement speed. Then I buy Soul Eater to get some more health, attack speed and some much needed life steal. Afterward I buy Executioner to get attack speed and power. Then I finish off my build by buying Rage and Death Bringer to get damage, and Crit chance. This is a build that lets you attack super fast, sustain with the extra health and life steal all while doing crazy amounts of damage per hit. Plus having more mana lets you use take advantage of your passive more often.

Summary:Chiron is incredible fun and fatal. If you work with your team just land you basic attacks/abilities you will WRECK LIVES. Use this guide to get you started with Chiron The Great Teacher and show the students that they can’t beat the master.

          Tips:

          • Remember that your 1 can be used as a cleanse
          • If you land a few basics then use your 2 for the slaw then it makes it to land your one even with the delay.
          • If you use your ult but they escape you can use your 2 as a finisher
          • If you have your team with you and decide to chase with your 3 SHOOT SOMEONE
          • Move during your ultimate and don’t be afraid to take a shot through a wall

          Xbalanque God Guide

          Xbalanque the Hidden Jaguar Sun

          Overview:
Xbalanque is an ADC and my favorite God because he is amazing. Once you get to late game or if you get fed early game, you can hyper carry and just get kill after kill. Basically if you get fed, you have a lot of fun. He is played in duo lane with a support because he isn't good early but he does huge damage later.
Xbalanque 's Passive For every kill Xbal gets 5 power up to 6.
Xbalanque 's 1 toggles and makes his basics do more damage, can can split into 2 damage other enemies for less damage.
Xbalanque 's 2 a cone attack that damages enemies, slows them  and leaves a Dot on them.
Xbalanque 's 3 lets him dash and jump in the air becoming CC immune and shoots out darts that does damage, more if they are poisoned.
Xbalanque 's Ult covers enemies in darkness for 3s,increases his attack range, movement speed and if enemies, are moving at the end of 3s they are stunned.

          Abilities:

          1. Dead of Night (Passive)

Xbal's passive, Dead of the Night, lets him permanently gain 5 power for each kill he gets, stacking up to six times. This passive is really good late game because you have crazy power or if you get fed early game you just kill everything.

          How I Build Xbalanque:

When I play as Xbal I don't follow the recommended start instead of the usual hunter Death Toll, Devourer's Gauntlet 1, and a health pot instead I buy level 2 Transcendence, and level 1 boots. Then as the money comes I finish Transcendence then finish off Warrior's Tabi. I use this start because I run out of mana fast as Xbal so Transcendence helps out in that respect and gives me a lot of power at the same time. This is a build that lets you attack super fast, sustain with the extra health and life steal all while doing crazy amounts of damage per hit.Summary:

My Last 2 Games as Xbalanque Image Credit to SMITEGuru

Xbalanque is a very fun and very strong God but you need to understand how to play him or he is just a strong God. Use this guide a base for how to play him and then as you go and get better with him mix it up if you want if see what works for you. Just do me a favor and share your build if you find another way to run him.

          Tips:

          • If you are running out of mana turn his one off until you regain enough mana to fight or back.
          • Start team fights with his 2 so the DOT is on them throughout the fight.

          • Your 3 makes you CC immune and can be used to get out of things like a Hades Ult.

          • Get kills as quick as you can to stack his passive but don't agress without your support there to back you up.

          • Keep in mind that your Ult affects all enemy Gods and be used to defensively to get away or offensively to get kills.

          Poseidon God Guide and Review

          God Of the Ocean
          Overview:
The first God that I’m going to review is Poseidon.Poseidon can do huge damage and be a huge help in team fights. He is usually played in the mid lane.He is a very easy god to use with his 2 stacking his passive, his passive increasing the damage of his 1 and 3 and his 3 and 4 able to be used in a fatal combo.
Poseidon's Passive for every successful basic, your movement speed and ability damage increases. Using an ability decreases the meter
Poseidon's 1 A line attack that does damage and is a knockback
Poseidon's 2 Buff that makes his basic send out 3 attacks, and grants increased movement speed
Poseidon's 3 AOE attack that does damage, pulls enemies to the center, and cripples
Poseidon's 4 AOE attack that does damage, slows, does bonus damage in the center, knocks them up and stuns them.

          Abilities:
          1.Changing Tide (Passive)
Poseidon's passive is called Changing Tides and stacks with each successful basic attack and increases his movement speed and adds additional damage to his abilities. Using his abilities decreases Changing Tide.
          • Basic Attacks increase his tide by 10% per hit
          • 10% movement speed buff and ability damage buff at max tide

          2.Tidal Surge

Poseidon’s first ability is called Tidal Surge where he summons a wave that pushes enemies back in a straight line while dealing damage to them. This is good for when an enemy is getting to close and you want them to get back a little and it can be used as a secondary wave clear
          • Ability: Line
          • Cooldown = 10s
          • Tidal meter = -35%
          • Cost = 70/80/90/100/110
          • Damage = 100/140/180/220/260 + 70% of your magical power

          3.Trident
Poseidon's second ability is Trident and is a buff that gives him additional movement speed and each of his basic attacks has 2 more water shots per attack that move a 3 pronged motion. This last for 6 seconds. This is good for getting your tidal meter before or at the beginning of a team fight or if you need to get somewhere faster or get out of a bad situation the speed buff can be a huge help.
          • Ability = Buff
          • Cooldown = 20/18/16/14/12s
          • Cost: 65/70/75/80/85
          • Movement Speed = 5/10/15/20/25%
          • Damage per hit = 30/40/50/60/70
          • Duration = 6 s

          4.Whirlpool
Poseidon’s third ability is Whirlpool and is an AOE attack that cripples anyone in it (prevents movement abilities like dashes or leaps), it pulls enemies to the center, and deals damage every .5s for 3s for a total of 6 ticks of damage. This also reduces his tide meter by 25%. This ability works really well at clearing waves of minions and can be combined with your ult for a huge amount of damage to multiple enemies in a team fight or to secure a kill.
          • Ability = Area of Effect Ground Target
          • Cooldown = 15/14/13/12/11s
          • Tidal Meter = -25%
          • Cost = 70/80/90/100/110
          • Damage = 15/25/35/45/55 + 15% of your magical power
          • Radius = 20

          4.Release the Kraken
Poseidon forth ability and his ultimate, is Release the Kraken that does a lot of damage, slows enemies within its radius. And if an enemy is in the center where the kraken spawns, they take additional damage and are thrown into the air and stunned. This is a fatal ability to use in a team fight to get a lot of damage or to secure and can combined with your 3 right before it to get even more A.O.E damage.
          • Ability = Area of Effect Ground Target
          • Cooldown = 90s
          • Tidal Meter =- 50 %
          • Cost = 100/110/120/130/140
          • Damage = 170/195/220/245/270 +30% of your magical power.
          • Bonus Damage in the Center = 180/220/260/300/340 + 60% of your magical power.
          • Slow = 30%
          • Stun in the Center = 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s

          How I Build Poseidon:

          Basic Build:
          Credit to EliteOwnage on EliteOwnage.com
When I play Poseidon I go for a power build and usually start off with Vampiric Shroud and a piece of Warlock’s Sash and health and mana potions because the give early sustain along with some power along with extra health, mana and a little MP5. From there I go into Shoes of the Magi for more power and mana along with some penetration and movement speed. Then I go into Chronos Pendant for my 4th item so I can get major cooldowns, more power and MP5 so I can cast a lot more and do more damage. Then I go into Bancroft Talon to get some more sustain with its lifesteal and more power. My 6th items I go into either Obsidian Shard for power and pen or a defensive item in depending on the situation.

After I finish my this I usually will sell off Vampiric Shroud and build toward Rod of Tahuti for a even more damage to end the game. For active I usually get Beads and a second item depending on the situation.

          Summary:

I love playing as Poseidon, and think he is a very good mage with the ability to do a lot of damage and change the Tide in team fight and help his team. If you're looking for a fun mage to play that is can do a lot of damage check out Poseidon the God of the Oceans.
