How to Build Crit Items

Disclaimer
This is based on the Season 2 Meta which is going to change soon when Season 3 starts. This might change the way things work or the stats once the change happens I will update this page as well.

What Are Crits?
These are the 3 main items that Physical gods use for power and Crit chance. A crit is basic attack that does 100% more damage than a normal basic attack. This is calculated before protections and applies to minions, enemy gods, Gold Fury and Fire Giant but not to towers, phoenixes or titans.

What Items give them?

+20%
Passive
Critical strike damage is increased by 40%.

If your basic attack does not crit, your critical strike chance increases by 10% (max. 5 stacks). Resets on successful crit.
If you basic attack crits, you deal an additional +75% of your total power as physical damage over the next 3s. Additional crits refresh this effect.
Passive Simplified
If you Crit it HURTS
YOU CRIT A LOT and can hurt

If you Crit you do you add a Dot to the person and IT HURTS

When Is Deathbringer Better?
The general build for most hunters/ADC include both Rage and Death Bringer to get the effects of both. This works really well with ADC because they build attack speed items which means that they can hit often, crit often and HURT. So Death Bringer is better with Rage and on gods with high attack speed/if you build attack speed.

When Is Malice Better?
Assassins usually get only one item depending on who they are. Malice is better when you are going to get inconsistent crits like Hun Bartz, and Serqet. It is debatable with Ne Zha and others gods. I haven’t used it on every God to tell you which gods its better on but as I try them out I'll Update this page.

General Rule
What it boils down to is that Malice is better if you are only going to build one crit item/you aren't going to get crits often. Deathbringer is better when used with Rage and high attack speed.
