How Do I Build A God?

1.Shoes/Boots Should be a Part of Your Build.

Some form of shoes/boots should be a part of your build no matter what gamemode or god you are playing. They give 18% movement speed which you will notice immediately and give you decent power along with other stat increases.

2.You Are Only as Tanky As You Build

This is a general tank build that can work well for me. Mark of the Vanguard is sold late game for a situational item depending on the other team's composition.
Guardians and warriors are naturally  tankier than mages, hunters and assassins but tank items help reinforce their natural stats.

3. Tanks need Physical AND Magical Protection, AND HP.

As you can see in this build Spirit Robe and Hide of the Urchin give you both magical and physical protection. At the same time, Bulwark gives additional magical and Breastplate gives you additional physical. This build also give you max cooldown reduction, a good amount of health and CC reduction.
If you are going to be tanky or a bruiser then you need to have magical and physical defense. Another good stat to include in a tanky build is HP, and HP5 is a good stat for gods that have heals.

4.Penetration is A Must
This is what Penetration  can do to protection.

Penetration is a necessary and important part of every build that lets you do more damage to towers, gods and objectives because you penetrate their protections.

5.Start With A Starter

In game modes like Conquest, Clash or Siege buying a starter item will help you get through early game and then still help until you sell it off late game.

If you are a jungler Bumba's Mask is a must.

6.Mages And Hunters Get Stacks on Stacks On Stacks

Mages and Hunters can buy items that stack to give them increasing stats that will help once they are bought and then get better as you build more stacks.
Usually you build these items 3rd or 4th to get them to full stacks as quickly as possible

7. Build To Your Role

ADC,Support, Mid, Jungle, Solo

How you build depends on your role, in general ADC build damage and attack speed, Mid build damage and cooldown, supports build protection and health, solo laners, build bruiser with damage and protections, and jungler build either damage or crits depenging on who they are.

8. Hit Your Targets

Just make sure that what you hit you hit multiple times.
Items that require multiple hits to be at their maximum effectiveness like Executioner or Spear of the Magus are very strong items but only if you can insure that you will get the maximum amount of stacks. For example Spear of the Magus works best on gods like Anubis, Poseidon and gods that have attacks that do multiple hits.

9. Finish What  Your Started

Don't Build Like this
When you are building an item it is better to finish building 1 item fully until before you buy another item unless you absolutely need the other item. Finishing the first item will be more cost effective and more effective in a fight.

Which Shoes Should I Get? (Magical)

This is a basic guide to help you guys decide on which boots/shoes to buy in different situations. Its honestly comes down to personal preference but this can help you if you ever get into a bad situation and need to change your build up.

Name:
Shoes of the Magi (Pen)
Shoes of Focus (Cooldown)
Reinforced Shoes (Tank)
Travelers Shoes
Picture:
Shoes of the Magi
Shoes of Focus
Reinforced Shoes
Travelers Shoes
Cost:
$1600
$1500
$1450
$1400
Stats:
+45 Magical Power
+10 Magical Penetration
+18% Movement Speed

+30 Magical Power
+250 Mana
+10% Cooldown Reduction
+18% Movement Speed

+20 Magical Power
+150 Health
+ 30% Crowd Control Reduction
+18% Movement Speed

+20 Magical Power
+ 18% Movement Speed.
You gain +14% additional Movement Speed and +25 HP5 while out of combat. Each time you hit an enemy god with an ability you earn +30 Gold. This cannot occur on the same god more than once every 90s.
Stats Explained:
You get early power and pen letting your attacks you shred through enemy protections and do more damage early game.
You get early cooldown reduction that lets you cast more and gives you a little extra mana.
These are the more defensive boots because they give you health and CC reduction this allows you to fight gods with a lot of CC with a lesser chance of getting chained into a bad situation.
You get less power but in exchange every time you are out of combat you gain 14% more movement speed and 25 HP5 allowing you to rotate faster and recover from fights faster. This also grants you +30 gold when you hit a god. Will only work on the same god every 90s.
When Should I Get Them?:
I would get these on gods that can push lane fast and that you know how to play.
This is the safest option and can be used on any mage or guardian and still be effective. These are the main boots you buy on supports because being able to use your abilities more often lets you put your ADC in a better situation.
I only get these boots if I’m playing support and the enemy team has a lot of CC. These boots allows me to be a little more tanky early game and allows me to get out of CC faster.

For example if you are fighting a Ymir or Athena, these shoes are very useful and can save your life and your ADC's life.
I don’t use these much but they can be useful if you know your team is going to need you to rotate a lot by giving you the the extra speed and recovery as you travel.

How Do I Build Stacks?

What is Stacking?
Stacking is when an item gets stronger and gives you additional effects.

Items

These are they 2 main stacking items for physical gods. They are decent items early game but once you get to late game they help you hit the enemy team in the face.

Item:
Devourer’s Gauntlet
Transcendence
Picture:
Cost:
$2050
$2600
Power:
+25 Physical Power
+35 Physical Power
Stat 1:
+10 % LifeSteal
+300 Mana
Stat 2:
N/A
+6 MP5
Passive:
You permanently gain +.4 Physical Power and +.20% Physical Lifesteal per Stack, and receive 5 Stacks per god kill and 1 Stack per minion kill.
You gain 15 mana per stack, and receive 5 stacks for a god kill and 1 stack for a minion kill (max. 50 stacks). In addition, 3% of your maximum mana is converted to physical power.
Passive Simplified:

You get 1 stack for a minion kill. 5 for a god kill.
For Each Stack you get 0.4 Physical Power and 0.20% Life Steal.
You get 1 stack for a minion kill. 5 for a god kill.
For Each Stack you get 15 mana and 3% of your Total mana is converted to power.
Full Stacks:
(Total Stats)
75 Stacks
+55 Power
+25% life Steal
50 Stacks
+66 Power
+1050 Mana
+6 MP5

Summary:

Devourer’s Gauntlet is used when you are playing and auto attack based ADC like Rama or Apollo.

Transcendence is used if you run out of mana a lot or if you are using a Hunter that relies on using their abilities.

With the current Meta you usually get one or the other on an ADC depending on your god. Personally I like Transcendence more because I play hunters that use a lot of mana. Just try both and see what works for you. VVGL

How to Build Crit Items

Disclaimer
This is based on the Season 2 Meta which is going to change soon when Season 3 starts. This might change the way things work or the stats once the change happens I will update this page as well.

What Are Crits?
These are the 3 main items that Physical gods use for power and Crit chance. A crit is basic attack that does 100% more damage than a normal basic attack. This is calculated before protections and applies to minions, enemy gods, Gold Fury and Fire Giant but not to towers, phoenixes or titans.

What Items give them?
Name
Deathbringer
Rage
Malice
Picture
Cost
3150
2755
2900
Power
+50
+30
+50
Crit Chance
+20%
+30%
+20%
Passive
Critical strike damage is increased by 40%.

If your basic attack does not crit, your critical strike chance increases by 10% (max. 5 stacks). Resets on successful crit.
If you basic attack crits, you deal an additional +75% of your total power as physical damage over the next 3s. Additional crits refresh this effect.
Passive Simplified
If you Crit it HURTS
YOU CRIT A LOT and can hurt

If you Crit you do you add a Dot to the person and IT HURTS

When Is Deathbringer Better?
The general build for most hunters/ADC include both Rage and Death Bringer to get the effects of both. This works really well with ADC because they build attack speed items which means that they can hit often, crit often and HURT. So Death Bringer is better with Rage and on gods with high attack speed/if you build attack speed.

When Is Malice Better?
Assassins usually get only one item depending on who they are. Malice is better when you are going to get inconsistent crits like Hun Bartz, and Serqet. It is debatable with Ne Zha and others gods. I haven’t used it on every God to tell you which gods its better on but as I try them out I'll Update this page.

General Rule
What it boils down to is that Malice is better if you are only going to build one crit item/you aren't going to get crits often. Deathbringer is better when used with Rage and high attack speed.
